Well here are the pictures of the before and after shots of the areas where we put in the wood floors! I really like how it turned out and can't wait to do the bedroom!
I'm in Olympia, the capitol. :) I just got back from the grocery store and it was insane! Everyone is in their blue and green and getting ready for the big game!
We are all excited in our house! My hubby was born in Seattle and grew up on Mercer Island. He moved to Oregon when he was in Jr High. I was born in Bremerton, but didn't live there long because Iam a military brat. My family is now in Spokane and that is where I met my husband when he was stationed at Fairchild AFB.
Thank-you for the compliments! Jennifer: it is "clean", because we don't "live " in there much. We also don't have our stuff with us. It is all in storage in Idaho. The current saying in our house is, "It's in storage!". Everything in my house was purchased at a garage sale or given to us by friends at Church. My husband is a Reservist in the Air Force and his current tour does not include bringing your household goods and family. We have spent our own money (created debt) to follow him to Germany and then here. M.C.: My colors are green and cranberry, with the blue too.
Thank-you! I Love it! The color is Toffee Maple. It is hardwood by Anderson. I have to have them come back, because one of the trim pieces they put down has a crack in it. They will get the rest of their money when they fix that. The bedroom is next! Soon!

Wow! It's amazing how such a little change can make such a drastic difference in a room. And I must say, your house is WAY too clean.
Beautiful floor! I've a similar dining table. I love green. :)

Looks great, Cheri!
What color is that? Cherry?
It is such a deep, dramatic color. Makes me want to run out and buy some. Then I remember I'm planning to put it in myself...

It is beautiful and I'm with Jen... way too clean!
